Loving God
Our first responsibility as Christians is to love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength. This is reflected in the rhythm of our community’s life in the following ways.
Worship
The Heights Church meets for worship each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the Hamilton Hall of the Cambria Suites Hotel on 13500 Tegler Drive in Noblesville, Indiana.
Worship at The Heights takes place in an intimate atmosphere. We hope that you’ll immediately feel like you are among friends. All are welcome, excluding no one, and we especially enjoy having children worship with us.
Children, teens, and adults worship together at The Heights. This cross-generational worship is by design, and we believe our children benefit greatly from being included in worship rather than being hidden away in another place.
Worship typically consists of singing, hearing and responding to the Bible, praying, and participating in communion together. We practice open communion, meaning anyone who professes faith in Christ is welcome to participate. We serve communion most every week.
Our worship is loosely based on the traditional church calendar, but you may not even notice it, except at times like Christmas and Easter. We think of it as a “quiet liturgy.”
We encourage people to dress as they choose for worship. At different times, you’ll see people dressed in casual, business casual, or dress attire, but the tendency is more casual. We don’t want you to be overly concerned about what to wear for worship, because we’ve all got more important things to focus on during worship.
Christian Education
We provide Christian Education classes for preschool children, elementary children, tweens, and teens, on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
Our focus is on teaching the story of Scripture and helping students figure out how they fit into God’s work in the world.
Christian Education classes are in Hamilton Hall at the Cambria Suites Hotel in Noblesville.
Bible Study
Adults meet for Bible study each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Conner Hall of the Cambria Suites Hotel in Noblesville. Age-appropriate activities are provided for children and tweens.
